As we move into the spring season, our students are preparing for important upcoming assessments that allow us to celebrate their growth and better understand how to support their continued learning. Testing can be a positive experience when students feel confident, prepared, and supported both at school and at home. Families play a critical role in helping students do their best, and a few simple strategies can make a big difference. Ensuring your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time each day helps set a strong foundation. Encouraging a positive mindset, reminding students to take their time, read carefully, and try their best can boost both confidence and performance. At home, maintaining regular routines and providing a quiet space for reading or practicing skills can further reinforce success.
We are proud of the hard work our students and staff have demonstrated throughout the year, and we look forward to seeing that growth reflected during this testing window. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student achievement.
We would also like to invite all families to attend our upcoming Title I Parent Information Night as we begin planning for the next school year. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how Title I funding supports our students, share your input, and help shape our school’s programs and priorities. The event will take place on May 14 from 5:30–6:00 PM in the Afflerbach Gym, and light refreshments will be provided. Your voice is an important part of our planning process, and we hope you will join us for this informative and collaborative event.
